Would you know how to help someone who is ill or injured? Would you know what to do in an emergency. Would you like to learn? A Red Cross public course in practical first aid will commence in the Church of Ireland building, Abbey Street, on Monday, September 17, at 7.30pm. This course will include such things as casualty assessment, C.P.R., bleeding control, fracture management and the treatment of a broad range of medical and trauma emergencies that you may encounter in your daily life.
This is an invaluable course, as the skills that you learn may someday help you to save a life. Spaces are limited, so pre-booking is essential. To pre-book your place on this course, contact Steven at 0876848517.
New members are more than welcome. Even if first aid and ambulance duties are not your thing, there are plenty of non-first aid activities that you could get involved with in the branch. You will be more than welcome.
