Clonmel students launch school bank

Clonmel High School bank is up and running.

Clonmel High School bank is up and running.

Transition Year students at the school held the offical launch of the school bank which is called ‘Bank a Bob’.

Special guest at the launch was Independent TD Mattie McGrath who wished the students well in their banking endeavours.

The school bank is run in conjunction with the local AIB branch’s ’Build a Bank’ challenge.

‘Bank a Bob’ offers a wide variety of services for High School Students.

These include online banking and a mobile app to manage their account on the go.

The school bank also hopes to educate students in the importance of saving.

Also wishing the bank well at the launch was school principal Des Feeney.
