A county Tipperary road in Cappawhite is to be closed for one month to allow the connection of a wind farm to the national grid.

The L-42041, better known as Seskin Lane, Cappawhite, will close for a month, early next year, while works take place at the Cappawhite B wind farm.

Tipperary County Council proposes to make an order closing the road from Monday, January 22, 2018, until Thursday, February 22, 2018 (both dates inclusive).

Access for local traffic will be accommodated on alternative routes during the works.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to the Director of Services, Roads & Health & Safety, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon on Wednesday, December 20.
