Agnes Hogan was highly respected for her honestly and integrity.

The death occurred, following a brief illness, at her home in Knockperry, Newcastle, on Tuesday, March 6, of Mrs Agnes Hogan (née Crotty) and widow of the late Willie Hogan.

Agnes was a quiet and gentle person who was highly respected for her honestly and integrity.

She was a wonderful and caring mother to her children and adored her grandchildren when they came along.

As a generous and helpful neighbour she was unequalled and will be sorely missed not alone by her family but also by her neighbours and friends who had known her.

On Thursday, March 8, her remains were removed from her home to Newcastle church where they were received and blessed by Fr Desmond PP, who also celebrated the requiem mass. Readings and offertery gifts were undertaken by family members.

Following mass burial took place in the adjoining cemetery.

To her daughters Catherine and Breda, grandchildren, sister, son in law and other relations we extend sincere sympathy.
