Eily Hanrahan was a kind and gentle soul

Eily Hanrahan was a kind and gentle soul

Deepest sympathies are extended to the Hanrahan family Castlegrace, Clogheen, on the death of their mother Eily (née Russell Ballyporeen) after a short illness.

Eily was in her mid-nineties and enjoyed wonderful health up to recently. She was predeceased by her husband Michael.

Eily was a regular visitor to Clogheen with her daughter-in-law Bridget for the messages and a chat with her many friends.

She is survived by her son Patrick, daughters Mary-Ann (Douglas, Wicklow) and Helen (Galway), daughter-in-law Bridget, son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren and all her extended family.

Removal took place from her residence to Duhill Church last Sunday and on Monday following requiem mass she was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. May her very gentle and kind soul rest in peace.
