National Cup Review –

Another weekend of excellent results for the TSSDL clubs in the National Cup competitions.

In the U12 competition, St Kevins recorded a fantastic 3-0 victory away to Moyne Rangers of Enniscorthey. Also in that competition Clonmel Town recorded a 3-0 victory away to a very strong Carrick United team that are top in the Waterford league.

In the U14 Cup St Michaels progressed to the next round by defeating Evergreen of Kilkenny City. In the U16 Cup Clonmel Celtic came through after a penalty shoot out against Ballyduff of Waterford. Congratulations to all of the teams, the next rounds of the U12, 14 & 16 National Cups will take place on November 10

Next weekend sees the next rounds of the U13 and U15 National Cup competitions. Best of luck to all of the TSSDL clubs.

U12 Emerging Talent Panel –

Trials will commence for the U12 Emerging Talent Panel next weekend. This group of players will be prepared throughout the remainder of the season to represent the TSSDL in the Munster inter-league competitions.

The first trial will be held in Clerihan on October 21 at 3:00 and will be for players from the following clubs; Clonmel Town, Clerihan, Clonmel Celtic and St Kevins.

A second trial will be held on October 28 in Clerihan at 3:00 and will be for clubs from Peake villa, Cahir Park, Moyglass, Burncourt Celtic, Bansha Celtic, Cashel Town and St Michaels.

A final trial will then be held on November 4.

Clubs wishing to send players to the trials should send details to the TSSDL Secretary by October 16.

Coach Education –

A Kick Start 1 course will be held at St Michaels grounds on Saturday, November 3. Completed application forms should be sent to David Lenane before

October 29.
