Republic of Ireland soccer star Shane Long returns to his native Tipperary on Thursday.
The West Bromwich Albion striker will be in Tipperary town for the launch of the Lucozade Sport’s Club Crusade initiative.
Long, a native of Gortnahoe who played minor hurling for Tipperary, will be in Cooke Park, the home of St Michael’s, for the event.
Long is now well established in the Premiership outfit and will be a key member of the Irish squad for the Euro finals in Poland and
Ukraine this summer.
