All of the above fun was overshadowed by the death of one of our stalwart members Margaret Ryan who finally succumbed to the illness she had fought with great courage and dignity for a number of years. To her husband Jimmy, her family and friends we send our sympathy at this distressing time. May she rest in peace.
It’s a busy time for the various Munster League Teams, the Ladies grade 5 tennis team from Hillview had a tough match on their hands on Sunday last when they met neighbours from Kilfeacle in a league clash, 2-2 was a fair result with both sides battling to the very end to share the spoils. Next Frid night the G3 ladies play Nenagh, while on Sun afternoon the Mixed G 4 play Rushbrook and the G5 ladies play Monskstown, all at home. Our G2 mxd travel to Nenagh for their encounter. The Hospice fundraiser was abandoned due to inclement weather. It will now be combined with the Christmas fun night scheduled for Friday 16th December.
The junior section are running a Christmas Tournament and Party on Sat 10th, starting at 3 PM, wear your Christmas outfits and join in the fun.
