New South Tipperary GAA Board chairman Hugo Browne.
It was a proud day for the Browne family and the Killenaule club when Hugo Browne was elected chairman of South Tipperary GAA Board this week.
Hugo, a former club chairman and Bord na Nog chairman, follows in the footsteps of his father Paddy who was board chairman from 1985 to 1987.
There was another first at the convention when Eddie McCarthy from the Mullinahone club was elected secretary - he is the first CJ Kickhams clubman to hold the post. He has previously been club secretary.
