The pick of this morning's football draw is Tipperary v Mayo - according to sports betting agency Boyle Sports!
But it's not good news from them for us in Tipp as they make Stephen Rochford’s side firm 1/7 favourites whilst Tipp are 5/1 to cause an upset for the visitors to Semple Stadium.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “The All-Ireland SFC Round 2 qualifiers draw has been made and all eyes are on Tipperary and Mayo who will clash in what will be a repeat of their 2016 showdown in the semi-finals.”
She added: “Mayo are undoubtedly hoping that this is the year they can break the dreaded curse and get their hands on Sam and at 4/7 it doesn’t look like Tipp will be standing in their way.”
Carlow suffered a 0-12 to 0-08 defeat to Laois in the Leinster SFC semi-finals on Sunday, sending them to the qualifiers. The Barrowsiders have been drawn against Tyrone, but appear to have their work cut out for them at 15/2 to win. Tyrone hold all the power in the betting at 1/14.
Cavan and Down are the all-Ulster event in the qualifiers and the betting suggests it will be a close affair. The Breifne County go into the clash off the back of a convincing Round 1 3-16 to 1-11 win against Wicklow and are 4/11 favourites whilst Down are 11/4 following their defeat to Donegal in the Ulster semi-finals.
The all-Leinster face-off is Longford v Kildare with Longford holding home advantage at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. This is the second time in four years the two sides will meet in an All-Ireland qualifier. Kildare are 4/7 to overcome the Midlanders who are currently priced at 7/4.
BoyleSports are offering Double Winnings on all markets as a free bet if there is a goal scored in the first 10 minutes of the match across all eight All-Ireland Round 2 qualifiers.
