Two and a Half Tenors will perform at ‘That’s Entertainment’ in Hotel Minella on Friday 18th November.
South Tipperary Hospice Movement (STHM) has announced a schedule of events for the forthcoming festive season, ranging from music and dance to wine tasting and festive fun in Clonmel town centre.
‘That’s Entertainment’ is a music extravaganza taking place at Hotel Minella tomorrow, Friday 18th November. Two and a Half Tenors will be supported by lots of great and diverse acts, including Suirvale School of Music, Creative Minds Rock Chorus and Belview Academy of Performing Arts to mention but a few. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are available for €20 from Marian’s Bookshop, O’Connell Street, Clonmel.
Red Nose Wine’s charity wine tasting event takes place from 7.30-9.30pm at Raheen House Hotel on Thursday 24th November. The timing is ideal as this event is the start of the pre-Christmas party season and a great time to get your Christmas wines selected in good time for the big day. There will also be competitions on the evening. Tickets are €15 and can be got from www.rednosewine.com, South Tipperary Hospice Movement Office on The Quay, Red Nose Wine in The Regal Centre, and Marian’s Bookshop on O’Connell Street.
Throughout the month of December, Clonmel Rotary Club will host its annual Remembrance Tree on O’Connell Street and Tesco, with all donations going to STHM.
A charity céilí will take place in Hillview Sports Club from 8-11pm on Wednesday 28th December and all are welcome. This is a joint fundraiser for STHM in conjunction with South Tipperary Parkinson's’ Support Group. Each charity will benefit from funds raised. Tickets are €15 and available from the above support groups and at the door.
Christmas cards in aid of STHM are on sale at the STHM offices, McDermots in Irishtown, Carries on O’Connell Street and from Breda Ryan, Clonmel Hospice Support Group.
