Tidy Towns seeks volunteers
Carrick-on-Suir Tidy Towns Committee hope the public notice a vast improvement in some parts of the town particularly in the areas of the Old Bridge and the Town Clock.
However, there are only a small number of people on the committee and extra volunteers are needed to hasten completion of the work.
Tidy Towns work takes place on Tuesday and Thursdays between 7pm and 8pm.
The location changes every night and to discover where the effort will take place in the coming weeks, anyone interested in getting involved should contact Carrick-on-Suir Business Association website (COSBA) or telephone (086) 1670787.
An Ireland/Newfoundland entertainment night will take place in Power’s Bar, Tullahought on Tuesday, August 28. All are welcome.
