We wish Claire Walsh a speedy recovery from her injury!

Juniors: Sunday was derby day with Rovers at home to local rivals Burncourt Celtic. In a vital League fixture. Chances were at a premium in the early stages, and Martin Grant had the home sides best chances when shaving the post twice with attempts from acute angles. Bernard Lonergan in the home goal was rarely tested and so we reached half-time scoreless. The break-through came in the 65th minute when Burncourt scored directly from a corner. The home side were in deeper trouble ten minutes later when Burncourt took a two goal lead. To their credit the home side created a number of chances and were rewared with five minutes to go when Martin Grant pulled a goal back. Try as they might the home side could not get an equaliser , and so face a difficult period ahead on the run in to the league.

Golden Goal winner was John Keane.

Pontoon winner was club chairmen Thomas Quirke.
