Galtee Rovers St Pecauns Ladies Football
Congratulations to Colaiste Dun Iscaigh, Cahir on their fantastic achievement of winning the Ladies Football All Ireland Junior Final recently. Our special congratulations to two ladies from the Galtee Rover St Pecaun Club, Aoife Nugent and Rachel Moloney who were part of the victorious team. Well done girls a great personal achievement and a proud moment for both your school and your families.
We in the Galtee Rovers St Pecaun Ladies Football club are very proud to have representation in the following championships this year. U12s, U14s, U16s, Minor, U 21 and Junior. We also have great participation in the U10s and U8s who are involved in fun blitz.
It was great to see the such dedication by the ladies at all levels at training sessions and challenge matches coming up to the opening of the season.
Some levels have commenced their championship games and in the next few weeks we will be bringing you up to date with their progress.
A big thank you to all trainers and selectors and good luck to all in your endeavours to bring silver ware back to the Parish again this year.

Galtee Rovers St Pecaun’s
Our sincere thanks to everybody who supported or helped in any way in the organising of our recent fundraising events. Well done to the Tipp senior and intermediate hurling management and squads for being so generous with their time on Thursday evening. Our thanks also to everybody who turned out, despite the inclement weather. The weather also played a spoilsport for our sponsored walk on Bank Holiday Monday but we would like to see all cards back as soon as possible to any committee member.
Our minor footballers were defeated by the Emly/Treacy’s combination in round 2 of the West minor B football championship last week on a scoreline of 7-9 to 3-10. Hopefully we can get some points on the board with a home game against Éire Óg this Wednesday evening.
Please bring your Trocaire contributions to the church no later than next weekend so that they can be forwarded to Trocaire Head Office
