At the September meeting members were shown The Arts & Crafts from the corner shop. Good to see such enterprise in Tipperary Town and worth a visit. Some of our own members also displayed beautiful beaded jewellery, decoupage pictures and handbags. We have a wealth of talent in I.C.A.October Meeting: Members who attended An Grianan for South Tipperary week told of the beautiful items made there. .The speaker was a health food expert who gave us advice on supplements for various ailments. Angela Lonergan showed the lovely handmade card, beaded necklace made by members Phil Coffey and Kay Maher, which she was given by Federation President Peggie O’Brien for promoting I.C.A. on Tipperary Mid-West Radio. Annual mass for deceased members will be held in November.

November Rosary

St. Johns Famine Graveyard Committee will be saying the Rosary every Sunday at 3.30pm for the month of November in the graveyard, Old Road, Tipperary Town. All welcome to pray for all who is buried there.

‘The Great American Songbook’

The Tipperary Musical Society concert, ‘The Great American Songbook’ will have a repeat performance at the Community Centre, New Inn, on November 2, at 8pm. Tickets available at Purcell’s Shop, New Inn or call 0894292101.

Tipperary Town FC

Tipperary Cup results: Tipperary Town FC 4, Two Mile Borris 2.Tipperary Town FC B-team 2, Cashel Town B team 1.Good day for the club with both our sides in the hat for the next round of the Tipperary Cup. Our B team kicked off the day with a super win against Cashel Town B. Goals came from Conor Duggan and Michael Xavi Campbell. ss

Our first team ended their poor run with a solid win against Two-mile-Borris. A brace from Russell Bowes and another from Cathal Ryan including a wonder goal sealed the win. We now look forward to the draw.
