Moyle Rovers hosted the first U12 camogie blitz of the season. It was a great start to the year with Annacarty, Arravale Rovers, Ballingarry , St Mary’s and Moyle Rovers competing. All teams played four games with very sporting competitive camogie matches. The blitz ran very smoothly thanks to all who helped on the day. Thanks to Pat O’Connor for preparing the pitches, Helen Breen for preparing the essential goodybags, our referees Olivia Shanahan, Andrew and Shania Dowling, and Sarah Everard. John Ryan and his U12 team did us proud on the day and we look forward to seeing these girls continue in this vein.

Training continues every Friday from 6pm to 7pm for under 8,10,12,14 and 16s. New members welcome. Registration is required for all players, E20.

Our next game was against St Mary’s which was was a very sporting encounter with fine displays of camogie all round. Many thanks to St Mary’s for the welcome refreshments and hospitality.
