Co. Board Draw winners.

Congrats to Howard and Kay Beardmore, Deerpark, on their great second prize win in the Tipperary GAA County board draw on Friday. We also had two cash prize winners in Pat and Liz Higgins Grantstown and Pat and Noreen McCormack, Greenane, and we also send our congratulations to them.

Best of Luck lads.

We, along with all Premier folk, will be cheering on our two County Hurling teams when they play in the All Ireland Semi finals in Croke Park on Sunday next. In particular we want to wish our own club man Brian Horgan who is a selector on the minor team and his charges the very best on the day.

Our U16 hurlers have qualified for the League Final after a victory over Cappawhite on bank holiday Monday after extra time. Final score 2-16 to 4-08. They now play Galtee Rovers in the final, details not known at this time.

U12 West Finals:

Two of our three U/12 hurling teams were in action last Sunday in the A and D West-Finals in Sean Treacy Park, Tipperary.

First up was our (C) team against Cashel. This match saw great skill and determination from both teams and Kickhams came out victorious 1-06 to 0-04. A delighted Captain Alan O`Brien received the trophy amid great scenes of jubilation.

The next match saw our (A) team up against Cashel. They just came up short losing by just two points in the end. Our boys can hold their heads high; they did themselves and the club proud.

West Semi Final

The U/12 (B) team is in the West Semi-Final on Friday evening @ 6.30 in Solohead against Emly. Please come and give these boys your support.

Our U/13 camogie team is playing Moyle Rovers on this Thursday, time and venue to be decided.
