Clerihan U13s are through to the next round of the National Cup following a 2-0 win against Bansha. Sean Cotter was on the scoresheet in the first half. Clerihan’s second half goal was scored by Ben Hogan-Keating. There were great performances from everyone on the day, especially Liam McGrath and Daniel Fitzpatrick at the back, Seamus McMahon, and Daniel McCabe on his debut.

Clerihan U11B team had a win against Clonmel Celtic. The final score was 6-2 to Clerihan, with 2 goals each from Tim Norris, Ryan Walsh, and Cathal O’Mahony Super performances from Aidan Maher, Jack Fitzpatrick, Scott O’Connor, Ciaran Moroney and Darragh Hanrahan. The match might easily have gone the other way but for his great first time performance in goal.


Clerihan GAA club will be running the successful hurling quiz again this year. It will take place in the Clonmel Park hotel. The ladies club would like to announce the winner of the ladies fundraising sports questions. It has been running since the start of the summer and the winner was Billy Acheson. The ticket was sold in Ferryhouse, Billy received E200.
