THE LATE NORA DUGGAN
The death occurred on Christmas Eve of Nora Duggan, Knockanevin, Mitchelstown. Nora (Nee McGrath) was in her 93rd year and was predeceased by her husband Gerald. The late Nora was a popular member of the local community. Her popularity was borne out in the very large and represented attendance at the removal on Thursday evening from Hannon’s Funeral Home, Kildorrery, to St. Malogga’s Church, Shraherla, and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Friday. Interment took place to Malogga Cemetery. To her daughters Mary (O’Donovan), Helen (O’Callaghan), Nora (Newman), sons John (JJ), William, Gerald, brothers Willie and Pat Joe, sister Sr Christina, sisters in law Bridget and Nellie, sons in law Jerry, Michael and Niall, daughter in law Breda, grandchildren Daniel Gerald, Geraldine, Annemarie, and Jack, great grandchild Matthew, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy. THE LATE SIOBHAN COLLINS
The death occurred on December 25 of Siobhan Collins, Moneens, Bandon, at St Patrick’s Hospital, Fermoy. The late Siobhan lived recently with her daughter Mary Lewis, Carragane, Mitchelstown. There was a large attendance at the rosary at her daughters residence on Wednesday evening. Removal took place from Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home Bandon on Thursday to St. Patrick’s Church Bandon, interment took place on Saturday after 12midday Requiem Mass to the adjoining cemetery.
To her daughters Mary (Lewis), Martina (McCarthy), sons in law Liam and Mick, grandchildren Charles, Michael, Andrea, Jack and Sarah, carers, relatives, neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy. R.I.P.
THE LATE DAVID ROCHE
The death occurred on December 23 at the Mercy Hospital Cork of David Roche, 1 Church St, Mitchelstown, and formerly of 30 O’Neill Crowley Terrace, Mitchelstown. The late Davie, as he was best known, was in his 86th year. A popular member of the local community he was predeceased by his wife Lizzie.
There was a large attendance at the funeral on Wednesday evening from his residence to Mitchelstown Parish Church on Thursday and also at the Requiem Mass and burial. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery. To his brother Denis, sisters Hanna (Sheppard), Bridget (Fletcher), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy
