U.16 Emly/S.Treacys 1-12 Rockwell Rvs. 0-6

Congratulations to our U-16 players, Eddie Lynch, Jason Ryan(C), Tiernan Moriarty, James Condon, Cian Quish, Tommy Ryan, Stephen Cummins, Andrew McGrath, Sean Burke, Philip Murphy, Shane McCarty along with our amalgamated players from Sean Treacys who won the U.16 Football Championship in Sean Treacy Park last Monday night. Thanks to Mike McGrath, Mark Fogarty and Johnny Alymer who have managed and coached this Team on the Emly side. We wish them all the best in their forthcoming games.

Our U.12A Team had mixed fortune during the week. On Wednesday night they overcame Rosegreen by one point in Sologhead in their semi-final which lead them to the final in Clonoulty on Sunday last. In this game they came up against Golden Kilfeacle who proved to be a stronger side and never gave Emly the chance to get into the game. Nevertheless it was a game of learning and all the best to the team who will play in Semple Stadium this Saturday in the losers group.

Our U.12B team put in a great display of football against Rockwell Rovers on Thursday night in Lattin. It was a game that slipped from them in the first half, conceding two quick goals but a mighty effort was put in during the second half and this team were unfortunate to lose by one point in the end.

Primary School Games

Best wishes go to Andrew Vance who has been selected on the Tipperary Primary School Games Team and this Team will be playing in Killarney next Sunday during the interval of the Tipperary - v – Kerry game.
