Old Bridge residents can look forward to two events this Bank Holiday weekend. On Sunday evening, from around 6-7.30pm, the Suir Valley 3-day cycle race will hold a hill-climb time trial up the Glenegad Road. As well as the excitement of the race itself and live commentary, the organisers hope to have some family entertainment laid on beside the start area on the green.
The following morning the annual Mass at the Holy Year Cross will be celebrated at 11am, all are welcome. Many thanks to the Borough Council for fencing off the living Christmas tree on the green in advance of these events.
