Eire Og Camogie - Congrats to the Eire Og Intermediates that captured the Kilmacud All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Sevens Title in Glenalbyn on Saturday evening last. After beating Portumna (Galway) 0-10 to 1-03, Kilmessan (Meath) 5-06 to 1-00 and Ballinderry (Derry) 2-03 to 2-02 to win the group, they in turn beat St Joseph’s (Armagh) 5-17 to 0-02 in the Quarter final, Creggan (Antrim) 2-07 to 1-04 in the Semi –Final before overcoming Kilmessan (Meath) in the Final 6-05 to 4-06.

Eire Og Annacarty GAA Club - Well done to Eire Og Senior Hurlers on their victory over Borrisoleigh last Saturday to qualify for the County Championship quarter-finals.


Senior Hurling: County quarter-final v Portroe this Sunday, September 23, in Semple Stadium at 7.30pm.

Minor Football - Hard luck to our minor footballers in combination with Emly who were defeated by Clonoulty Rossmore in West Minor football final on Wednesday last on a scoreline of 2-14 to 3-03

Intermediate Hurling - In county quarter final we will play Ballybacon-Grange as a result of their South final victory over St Mary’s on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-11. Date and venue to be announced.

Junior Football - In junior A football championship we have qualified for semi-final which is due to be played in next few weeks.

U14 Plate Hurling - Our U14 Hurlers won the plate competition in Cappawhite last Saturday beating Rosegreen on a score line of 6-09 to 1-01. It was a good all round team performance. U16 Hurling - Our U16 combo with Emly exited the Championship last Monday night after a hard fought battle with Clonoulty on a scoreline of 1-16 to 0-08. Our lads were in the game until 10 minutes from the end but the concession of a soft goal and Clonoulty’s big match experience helped them in the end.

Butler Cup - Now that our U14 season is finished we hope to run off our annual Butler Cup in the next few weeks, so training will continue.

Lotto - The Juv. Club are still looking for people to help sell club Lotto tickets as this benefits our youngsters greatly. Jackpot is currently €8600.

Training - Training continues every Saturday morning 10.30am for 8s and 10s. Great to see so many new children joining lately. All other training times we be texted so please reply.
